Size: Maximum size in horizontal plane including half of the space between adjacent imprints (tolerance +/- 25%)

Shape: Trough angle (tolerance +/- 25%)

Depth: Vertical distance from crest to trough (tolerance +/- 25%)

Spacing: Horizontal distance between sides and ends of adjacent imprints (tolerance +/- 25%)

Mulch: Percent of imprint covered with plant residues

Smoothness: Percent with 0% being microrough and 100% being microsmooth imprint walls.

Tools: Steel measuring tape, pencil/pen, and field evaluation sheets
